RUSSIAN DOLLS

At Metamorphosis in St.Ives we only carry authentic Russian Matrioshka dolls,
straight from Russia. The semyenov and polkhov dolls are hand painted
in the state workshops and are therefore the cheapest.
All the others are hand painted by individual artists from all around Russia
and are bought Fair Trade directly from the artists
and craftsmen concerned with their production.
Our producers are fully aware of the prices that their work is sold for in the u.k
and are satisfied that they receive a fair price. They are fully independant
and free of government controls and subsidies.
Children are not involved in the production of any of our products.
